Chapman Cultural Center Community Grant

The CAC is extremely honored to be awarded a Community Grant from the Chapman Cultural Center! With this grant, we will be incorporating more art into therapy sessions with the children we serve. We would like to be able to provide all the necessary art materials for children to be able to express themselves fully through art when they cannot express their emotions and feelings through words. We will be purchasing art supplies for our center, as well as a rolling art cart. This art cart will be easily transferable throughout our building and will be able to hold all of the different forms of art we use at the center. The more variety of choices we can provide to our children, the more successful this project will be. Trauma is extremely difficult to share and we need to give children every tool possible for them to be able to share and heal. This grant is doing just that, helping children heal.
